TacticalDrone Privacy Policy

Overview

TacticalDrone is an FPV video viewer and recorder. The app's core functionality operates entirely on your device. In addition, the app collects a limited amount of anonymous diagnostic data to help fix bugs and improve reliability, as described below.

Data We Collect

Through Google's Firebase Crashlytics and Firebase Analytics services, the app automatically sends the following to the developer:

• Crash reports - stack trace, thread state, device model, Android version, app version, free memory and disk space at the time of a crash.
• Usage events - anonymous signals about whether app features worked (e.g., whether goggles connected, whether a drone was detected, whether recording started/stopped), along with device model and Android version.
• Anonymous install identifier - a random ID generated by Firebase to group events from the same installation. This ID is not linked to your name, email, phone number, Google account, or any personal identifier. Uninstalling the app resets it.

Advertising ID collection is disabled in this app. No advertising data is collected.

What We Don't Collect

The app does not collect your name, email, phone number, contacts, location, photos, or any personal identifiers. Your video recordings are stored only on your device and are never transmitted.

Device Permissions

The app requests the following permissions:

• USB Accessory - To receive video from connected FPV goggles.
• Internet / Network state - Used only to upload anonymous crash and usage data to Firebase.

Recorded Video

Video recordings are stored locally on your device. They are never uploaded or shared by the app. You control your recordings entirely.

Third-Party Services

The app uses the following services from Google, which act as data processors:

• Firebase Crashlytics - Firebase privacy policy
• Firebase Analytics - Firebase privacy policy
• Google Play In-App Updates - used to notify you of new app versions.

No data is shared with any other third party.

Data Deletion

To delete all data associated with your app installation, uninstall the app. The anonymous install ID is reset, and any past events remain anonymous and unlinked.

Children's Privacy

The app is not directed to children under 13 and does not knowingly collect data from them.

If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted here.
